About the show
The Page Theatre is proudly going to therapy!
The Page Theatre, in co-production with White Rock Players’ Club presents Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang
Set in 1980, Bruce and Prudence are deeply in need of therapy. Prudence’s macho therapist is urging her to be more assertive while Bruce’s wacky female therapist wants him to meet women by placing personal ads. She does not fully comprehend that Bruce has a male lover who is not pleased by Bruce’s desire to date women: enter Prudence. Bruce doesn’t know how to handle poor nervous Prudence and Prudence doesn’t know what to make of her unpredictable new boyfriend. Do they learn to live beyond therapy? Find out in this crazy Broadway hit!
Please be advised that this show will use simulated gun noise and contains strong language.

Okay seriously though…
From our first show in 2012, we have always believed it to be important that one not-for-profit help another not-for- profit. Since 2012 The Page Theatre and its audiences have come together to donate money to a specific animal shelter. A cause near and dear to our hearts.
This year we are, once again, happy to team up with the Delta Community Animal Shelter. A donation jar will be available for the run of the show, as well as a portion of ticket sales from our July 14 show will go to DCAS to help animals in need.
